How to get to Pompei
The main airport for Pompeii is Naples Capodichino Airport (NAP). Pompeii is easily accessible by train from either Naples or Sorrento and the journey takes approximately 40 minutes. You have to get off at Pompeii Scavi and the entrance to the ruins is just few hundred yards away. Not far from here you also find the Tourist Information Office.
Important Please remember that if you are using the train service, you must validate your ticket before boarding the train by using the yellow machine on the platform or in the railway station.
