How to get to Milan

Milan has two airports: Malpensa (MXP), well connected to the city by public transport, and Linate (LIN),  the closest to the city. From there you can use the bus service (number 73) to San Babila Square, in the city centre;, usually there is one every ten minutes and it costs only €1.

Alternatively, you can fly to Bergamo Airport (Orio al Serio), 45 km east of the city, and then use public transport to the main railway station in Milan: "Milano centrale".

Milan is very well connected by train to the rest of Italy and some European cities like Paris, Zurich, Geneva, Munich, Stuttgart, Zagreb, Vienna, Barcelona, Chiasso and many more.

Important

Please remember that if you are using the train service, you must validate your ticket before boarding the train by using the yellow machines on the platform or in the railway station.
